Being active in the surroundings of Molecaten Park Flevostrand

Choose from kilometres of junction routes over dikes and through forests. Especially nice and beautiful is the round Veluwemeer, along the bulb fields in spring or enjoy every season on a tour of the Veluwe.

Also beautiful and fun with children: Lelystad Nature Park. Kilometres of cycling and walking paths meander through the wooded terrain, making a walk or cycle trip a voyage of discovery through nature. In the visitor centre, you can rent bicycles so you can visit the entire park.

• Opposite our park is the Harderbos; a primeval forest in the making! You can take beautiful walks here or, for the runners among us, follow the trail running along primeval nature with Scottish Highlanders, beaver castles and across the Hoge Dwarsvaart.
• In Flevoland, explore the beautiful nature of Oostvaardersplassen, the largest marshland in the Netherlands.
• Walk through Lelystad Nature Park with Przewalski horses, wild boars, storks, Pater David deer and otters are just a few of the animals found in this nature park.

• Sailing School De Randmeren in the marina of our park: learn to sail and surf during the holidays!
• Waterski school De Harder only 1.5 km from our park: the Veluwemeer is perfect for water skiing, wakeboarding, supping and much more.
• Klimbos in Harderwijk: for a spectacular climbing adventure! In addition to an infinitely long climbing course where you determine your own route, there is also a Rollercoaster Zipline! The zipline goes straight through the forest and because of the high speed and the bends it seems as if you are in a real rollercoaster.
• Klimbos Fun Forest in Almere: climb through the longest zipline park in the Netherlands. Every route starts and ends with a zip line, glide through the woods and over the water. There are 5 different routes to choose from, determine the height of the route yourself.
• Klimbos Veluwe in Apeldoorn: a unique and exciting experience for young and old (from 7 years of age). There are 9 routes and approx. 120 different crossings, varying in height and difficulty.
