Horse market Heenvliet, Heenvliet
The traditional horse market in Heenvliet is the annual event in the region for horse lovers. Before the horses are actually allowed to enter the Market on Whit Monday, they are checked by the market master. The well-known 'hailing and bidding' between the traders is a beautiful spectacle and starts on Monday at seven in the morning. There are various activities throughout the Whitsun weekend, such as the funfair, the art market, the vinyl market, a classic car show, the sculpture garden and the pleasant annual market with various performances.

Rockanje Classic Races, Rockanje
The Rockanje Classic Races, organised by Stichting Historische Motorrace Rockanje, is an annual event with international fame. The Rockanje Classic Races are unique as they take place on the only original street circuit in the Netherlands as it was used for competition races in the 1950s-1970s and is the largest event of its kind in the Netherlands. The unique formula of demo races on an original street circuit, in the ambiance as it was customary in the previous century, combined with an additional programme such as the Rockanje Class, exerts a great attraction on the public and participants every year.
