In the vicinity of Molecaten Park Landgoed Molecaten, Hattem, Netherlands

Enjoy the versatile Veluwe!

The campsite is situated on the 130-hectare 'Molecaten Estate' with beautiful pine and deciduous forests inhabited by foxes, deer and wild boar, where you can hear bird song all day long. The ‘Mariabeuk’ is found on the estate; with its 400 years, one of the oldest beeches in the Netherlands! You can visit the lively, historic, fortified town Hattem, the Hanseatic city Zwolle, the former Zuiderzee town Elburg and of course Palace 't Loo in Apeldoorn.

Children will have the most wonderful adventures in the woods, on the water or in an amusement park. They will never forget their visit to the Dutch Bakery Museum, the Game Factory and the forest climbing park!

A stay during the red deer rutting season (approx. 15 September - early October) is spectacular. The manager of Molecaten Estate will be happy to arrange an excursion to the Hoge Veluwe to watch the red deer from a distance (not free of charge).
