Liberation Festival, Brielle
A multi-day special liberation festival in the fortified city of Brielle! Brielle goes back to the war years 1940-1945. Military encampments are being built on the ramparts, both Allied and German, including a Mock Battle, a parade with veterans and a 1940s-1945s music evening. It is definitely worth visiting Brielle. Citizens are dressed in 1940s style and the music will also be adapted to that. It promises to be another great edition, so be surprised again.

Biberbunker liberation event, Oostvoorne
The Biberbunker Foundation is organizing a special liberation event, all bunkers are decorated as they were during the war. As a visitor you walk a route through the Oostvoorn dunes where you are always taken back to the May days of 1945. English soldiers return to the dunes where German soldiers still man the bunkers. In this way we bring the former German radar position back to life. We do this with the help of reenactment. There are also other activities such as a treasure hunt for children, lectures on interesting topics and our famous Biber catering is of course also available. The Mother's Day Fair 2024 again offers a wide range of fun, beautiful and tasty gifts for Mother's Day.
The range is extensive, 50 stalls with: flowers, plants, clothing, fashion accessories, special beer, nice gifts for young and old. There are also new stall holders this year, nice to see that the fair is alive! The theme is of course Mother's Day, but there are so many nice things for sale that visitors will definitely go home packed and ready." Naturally, there are stalls, manned by volunteers, with oliebollen, poffertjes, fries, gingerbread, books and antiques. The proceeds from the day, stall rental, income from our own stalls, sponsorship and raffle sales will go towards the maintenance of the church building.
The stalls are located on the Ring and on the church square in the middle of the village.
